A haiku a day - for the pigeon tree (morning contemplation from the kitchen window)
through the seasons
January to December - 2010
an illustrated anthology
white blossom wing tip
dancing spray of feathered leaf
blown by a cool wind
illuminated
night waits through a dark window
and sleeps in your leaves
this morning I thought
a hint of early autumn
three leaves turned to brown
fat snowflakes float down
one orange leaf, old and strong
refuses to fall
